What does your kitten come with?

All kittens leave with age-appropriate vaccinations and a clean bill of health from their veterinarian. Kittens sold without breeding rights will be spayed/neutered before leaving. I have my kittens microchipped during the spay and neuter procedures.

TICA registration forms will be sent home with each of my kittens. I register all of my litters, so you can register your individual kitten if you choose to do so! I will be happy to walk you through the steps of completing the registration online.

I socialize my kittens to the best of my ability. Aside from a short adjustment period, they should not be shy or skittish once you take them home, and they will welcome human interaction. 

My kittens are trained to use the litter box. They usually learn this skill on their own, at as young as four weeks old! If not, I will work with them to ensure they are litter-trained by the time they go to their permanent home.

I may send some extras along with your kitten, including a small supply of food so you can complete their food transition. I might also send a kitten’s favorite toy, and/or something familiar such as a piece of their bedding.

 

When do i let my kittens leave?

This will vary between kittens. Some kittens are more independent and outgoing than others, and will adjust more easily at a younger age. Others require more time with their mother and siblings before they become more secure and mature. Smaller kittens may need to remain with me longer, to meet the size requirements for spay/neuter.

Most kittens will be ready anywhere between 10 and 14 weeks of age, but some fall outside this range.

How do i price my kittens?

I price my kittens based on a variety of traits, including markings, temperament, and adherence with the TICA breed standards.

I decide the price on an individual basis. Most kittens will probably be priced between $1800 and $2800, but there may be exceptions. Outstanding kittens could be priced higher, and older or less visually appealing kittens could fall below this range.

Do i Offer breeding rights?

This is something I will decide on a case-to-case basis, and I will only consider it for TICA registered catteries that seem to value high-quality cats and kittens. I will not sell kittens with breeding rights if I do not think the kitten is of the highest quality.

Feel free to inquire about breeding rights on any available kitten, but be aware that kittens sold with breeding rights will be considerably higher in price. Typical breeding price is $3500 – $4500.

Do i offer shipping for my kittens?

No, I do not offer shipping on my kittens. I can sometimes meet with a kitten 1-2 hours away from my location in Charleston, West Virginia.
